Social Assistance Program

The Program was created to assist Native Americans who reside in some of our marginalized communities in the Commonwealth who are experiencing temporary financial hardship with no safety net. They include families, our Elders, those that are disabled, the chronically ill, and other vulnerable Native residents who are at high risk for unmet heating bills, food insecurity, rent/mortgage arrearage, and in need of other basic essentials due to socio-economic disparities and lack of critical resources.

Assistance is provided during a period of temporary hardship, throughout the winter months, and in an emergency situation. Funds are paid by MCNAA directly to the service provider/vendors.

If you are a Native American living in Massachusetts and find yourself in need of help with any of these services, please reach out to us and we will provide you with the necessary paperwork to apply for assistance. E-mail us at: mcnaa@aol.com

MCNAA is about family and friends, our extended community across the state. We want and need to be able to respond to as many requests as we can, as we do not want to see any community member going without. This is not our way of being… so we are asking for those who have the means to provide some financial assistance to please contribute to our Social Assistance Fund. The more funding we have access to, the more assistance we can provide to our Elders and families across the Commonwealth. Anything you can contribute will be greatly appreciated.
